WATEK
Engineering Corporation was formed from the staff of
the Maryland office of Boyle Engineering (via a smooth
transition by mutual agreement), and commenced operation
in January 1996. This staff has been working together
as a team and providing water and wastewater engineering
services to local, state, national and international
clients. |

engineers who have extensive experience in design of
water facilities. These engineers direct and perform
work on all our projects. This provides the best
possible service to our Clients because projects are
managed from a practicing engineer's perspective and by
people who have a vested interest in successful

Quality
assurance is a primary focus of WATEK. Internal quality
control audits and reviews are performed regularly and
feedback from our Clients on our performance is highly
valued. WATEK requires project managers to identify
their Client's goals, needs, requirements and prepare
submittals that not only meet the Client's criteria, but
our own stringent quality control standards. At the
major milestones, independent reviews are conducted by a
principal engineer who approaches the project with
objectivity not prejudiced by daily involvement. Our
strict policies regarding the quality of project
performance and deliverables has resulted in the
successful completion of hundreds of small and large scale projects. |

A good measure of
engineering and design accuracy is a comparison of the
engineer's construction cost estimate with the project
bids, total project cost and change orders. WATEK team
members are proud of their cost projections and preparation
of contract documents that are clear and quantifiable.
A summary of recent projects shows that WATEK engineer's
estimates are within 10% of the bid averages and the
project total cost. Equally impressive is the change
order summary indicating that the change orders for
the recent projects are all under 4% of the project
total cost.
WATEK's reputation for reliability can be seen in the
number of repeat clients. WATEK has a reference list of
over 20 clients which have selected WATEK for multiple
projects. WATEK has open end agreement contracts with
three major local water agencies. |

protection against errors and omissions in the amount
of $1,000,000 and a general liability coverage in the
